Rooom was very clean, the bed was fresh and made very well. I forgot to ask for extra pillows, but next time I will.
Probably the MOST FRIENDLY, kind, and helpful hotel manager I've ever met!
The parking lot was way too close and small
I liked the rooms were clean and nice. It was a great location for our trip. We had several people in different rooms. We traveling with young gilrs that are part of a gymnastics team.
The price ($49.95) was below our budget. The room was more than we expected: a big room with separate areas for desk, sofa with coffee table, and bed; large bathroom with great shower; refrigerator, microwave, full-sized iron, hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable. The room and everything in it was spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. Close to Hult Center and central Eugene, free parking, easy access to and from freeway.
There wasn't a coffee maker with coffee, although free coffee/breakfast was available at the office starting at 7am. (We opted for an earlier start than that and had breakfast on the Oregon coast (60 miles away) at 7:30am.)
Convenient location to University. Local eating places handy including Indian food place. Convenient local supermarket. Good value for money. Very helpful and personable staff.
No obvious negatives.
Burn holes in sofa and bedspread, carpet old, worn and bunched up, sink badly cracked, little invested in maintenance, receptionist needn't call customers "sweetie". Was amazed that aaa recommend it.
Staff was very friendly and very helpful; I had asked for an early check in and they accommodated us Perfectly. Room was huge and a great value. Couldn't have asked for things to be easier or better.
The room was spacious and clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and the location (for our events and family) was perfect. Did not expect all this for the budget-friendly cost!
We got a great deal. The front desk person was super-friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The room was convenient, the parking lot was very easy to park in. We liked having the fridge and microwave. The room was clean. It's dog-friendly! We discovered a very cute residential neighborhood on the side streets off 6th while walking our dog, which was a bonus. We found the people of Eugene to be delightfully friendly.
There were a couple of holes in the bedspread and the decor was a little old-fashioned/tacky. But it was great for the price. It was a little tricky to find and the map we had showed an exit for 6th St., When there wasn't any from Interstate 5. It would've been nice to have tissues in the room, too. But basically, I'm nit-picking here. It was very satisfactory.
I thought the room was very clean and the employees where very nice. I just stayed at a motel 6, 3 weeks ago and compared to them you guys where great!! All and all it was a good place to stay not very fancy but for the money it was fair.
price and staff friendly
no ice machine manager got ice out of trays. office not open or breakfast not till after 7 a.m. had problems with toliet
I was pleased w/ the general cleanliness and upkeep. Felt a good place for a fair price.
1 spider web up by ceiliing and overwhelming scent fo cleaner
There isn't anything that I really enjoyed about this hotel. But, it was fairly clean.
The room was cold when we arrived. There wasn't anyone attending the desk when we arrived or during check-out. The person that finally arrived to assist us in checking out, at 8:00 am, was still in her pj's and looked like she had just been sleeping. The room was near a train track and a busy road which kept us awake all night. The location was poor, the hotel did not appear to be in a good part of town. The continental breakfast consisted only of coffee and prepackaged bearclaws. There was not wi-fi available. When we called at 8pm for assistance with the wi-fi there was no answer. When we walked to the office, it was locked and no-one was available to help us. Will not stay there again!
Welcome staff at front desk was very nice and gracious.
Found couch dirty so we did not use it. The room door did not close securely as there was a least an 1 inch gap between door and floor ..... There was no coffee maker in the room, and the tv was very old and small. Continental breakfast was nothing.... Just coffee (no tea) and packaged danish. Out of several hotels we staying during our Oregon trip, this was the most expensive and offered the least comfort and amenities. Hotel is also in a questionable neighborhood. We won't use it again.
2Nd stay in 1 week.... Lots of spider webs in various places. Room was so over whelming with the smell of Lysol or something that it was actually hard to breathe. All of my clothes (even clean ones) spelled so back when I got home I had to rewash everything. With the overwhelming smell I had to wonder what they were hiding. The faucet on the sink was loose and not even completely attached to the counter and the grout on the floor was very dirty. If they would pay closer attention to these things I would be more likely to re visit their establishment. But I can not say that I would go back.
